Sean Osada, born in Honolulu, Hawaii to a Japanese mother and a Persian-American father, spent his formative years in Osaka, Japan before graduating from high school in Kyoto.
Venturing into the entertainment world, Sean joined Tokyo-based talent agency Oscar Promotion, where he showcased his talent in prominent stage productions such as ‘La-Marie Vision’ and ‘Hyper Projection Engeki Haikyuu!!’ across Japan from 2019 to 2020.
His television appearances, commercials, and modeling gigs for prominent brands like Nike, Gap, and Louis Vuitton have further solidified his presence in the entertainment industry.
Sean's expertise in Gen Z trends and consumer behavior aligns seamlessly with his marketing role at FUTURE COLLECTIVE, where he fosters youth culture initiatives.
As Associate Producer of 'FOR THE LOVE OF VERSACE: An Honorary Tribute to Gianni Versace & Immersive Fashion Experience', Sean contributes to a traveling exhibition featuring over 5,000 pieces of vintage designer wear.
Embarking on a poignant journey with his brother DANNY GALLAGHER, walking 10,000km carrying 7 pairs of shoes of suicide victims across Japan, shedding light on the battle against depression among Japanese youth.
The documentary film TIRED OF WALKING delves into the mental health crises and suicide prevention efforts in modern-day Japan, spotlighting Sean Osada's impactful journey and contributions to the arts and mental health advocacy. Sean will continue to focus on the narrative and his endeavors in raising awareness for mental well-being.
Currently, Sean is based in Tokyo but spends some time in Honolulu, Hawaii where he works to strengthen cultural connections between the East and West. His goal is to act as a bridge, fostering understanding and collaboration between different cultures and communities.
